Introduction
Throughout this school semester we have encountered many different species of animals that have broaden my knowledge on how every living thing on earth interacts and needs each other to survive. We have learned about adaptations, life cycles and the anatomy and physiology of many different kinds of invertebrates and vertebrate animals that live in ocean as well as on land.
But, there are two animals that have peeked my interest and I felt that they are indeed worthy of recognition. In so many ways life's wonders can be of significance and impact people on many different levels especially when there is a commonality that is shared among the different species. In a peculiar way I almost feel as if I can relate to these weird and wacky creatures when it comes to child bearing and reproduction. These two animals are wonders of the sea but are both at risk of becoming endangered species.
The Seahorse and the Hammerhead Shark are fascinating and wonderful vertebrate creatures of the chordata phylum, with unique ways of reproducing. They also share some common characteristics but the seahorse is a bony fish and the shark has a skeleton of cartilage. They are also different in other ways. For instance there size and appearence are completely opposite.
